Lower Back Pain Due to Kidney Energy Deficiency 

 Question; How is lower back pain caused by deficiency of Kidney Energy?

Answer: First it is insidious, and the pain is mild but protracted, with lassitude and weakness of the lumbar region and  knee. Symptoms are intensified after strain and stress and pain is alleviated with bed rest.

Clinical Manifestations
  • Chronic lumbago: low back feels cold, weak and aching

With Fructus Tribuli/Caltrop Fruit tonifies the Liver and Kidneys to ensure that the eyes are nourished, anchors Liver Yang and expels Wind-Heat to treat many eye disorders, especially when there is Liver and Kidney Deficiency with either Liver Qi /Energy Stagnation with Liver Yang Rising or External Wind-Heat affecting the eyes.
