Dropping Upper Eyelid 2/3   

Externally Contracted Wind(Evils') Etiology

Wind is a yang evil and has a propensity   to blitz the upper part of the body. If wind evils attack the head, it will dwell in the eyelid, and obstruct the network vessels there, disturbing the smooth flow of energy and blood movement. Resulting in the sinews and muscles losing their nourishment and finally Blepharoptosis may follow.

Symptoms

Sudden dropping of the eyelid accompanied by itchy eyes, headache with eye distention, and a red tongue.

Principle Treatment: Dispel wind and open the network vessels.     

Prescription :Fang Feng Rehmanniae Tea

       In addition, one should stimulate GV-23 and GV-20 together , these points upbear the energy to warm and nourish the sinews in the eyelids.
