Balloon Flower Root is pungent, bitter, and neutral and enters the Lung meridian. Pungency disperses stasis, and bitterness reduces stasis. It is light in weight and nature and moves upwards and outwards. It is effective for regulating the Lung-Energy, and reducing swelling and pain in the throat which is due not only to Fire-Toxin (effects mouth, lips, tongue, and the gums), but also a commonly used herb to remove Phlegm and treating cough and any other throat disorders.
How to Use
Soak the herbs in a gallon of water for 20 minutes, then boil it in the same water for 20 minutes, after that strain and drink a cup with each meal.
Breastfeeding Women: Do not use if breastfeeding, may inhibit lactation.
