Shiitakes are composed of unsaturated fats, carbohydrates, crude fiber, calcium, phosphorus, iron and vitamins B1,B2, and D. They enhance the immune system, increase lipid fighting activity in cells, promote lymphocyte synthesis, and reduce bodily toxins. They also, protect the liver by increasing healthy antibodies.
